Thanksgiving is this Thursday, November 25 and we have beautiful autumn weather and good food to be thankful for in the Valley. Local restaurants are offering Thanksgiving meals to eliminate the stress of having to cook and allow you to focus on the good stuff – food and family.

24 Carrots
Thanksgiving typically evokes thoughts of a traditional holiday feast, with a turkey front and center. But those who forego eating animal products can still enjoy the day sans meat. 24 Carrots’s “Plantsgiving,” available for pickup on Wednesday November 24, is a vegan Thanksgiving meal that features roasted “turkey” lasagna or roasted “turkey” mac and cheese as entrees, with a variety of sides including butter-roasted sweet potatoes, double garlic mashed potatoes and harvest salad. Dessert options include pumpkin pie and autumn caramel apple cake – all vegan.

Sanctuary Camelback Mountain executive chef Beau MacMillan has crafted a Thanksgiving menu that can be enjoyed at the resort’s elements restaurant, Jade Bar or from a suite or villa. The menu offers three courses plus dessert. Main course offerings include Two Wash Farms traditional turkey dinner, braised wagyu beef cheek, pan-roasted branzino, Iberico pork tenderloin and butternut squash ravioli, each with its own selection of sides. Reservations required.

The Americano and Mora Italian
Chef Scott Conant has created special Thanksgiving menus for The Americano and Mora Italian. Each menu reflects a traditional Italian style with courses such as truffle potato gnocchi at The Americano and fettucine at Mora Italian. Specialty cocktails will also be offered. Both menus are prix-fixe and are being served from noon to 3 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day.
