East Valley
Craft 64
It was their devotion to Arizona beer that first enamored us of Craft 64 owners Roger Carpenter, Scott Hagen and James Swann (all AZ taps, all the time) but it was their Bianco-esque wood-fired pizza that settled the long-term love. East Valley-ites can now relate with the trio’s new-ish Chandler location.

Phoenix
Pizzeria Bianco
Someday, we’ll get around to officially ranking the six full-time-menu pizzas served at Chris Bianco’s two Phoenix locations, but usually it comes down to the Rosa (pistachio, Parmigano-Reggiano) and Wiseguy (smoked mozz, fennel sausage).

Scottsdale
Andreoli Italian Grocer
Giovanni Scorzo’s simple, daily tomato-and-mozzarella pizzas aren’t strictly Neapolitan, but they hew to the same principle: glorious little wood-fired contradictions of crisp and chew, with crust so elemental you can almost see the scythes and grain mills in your head.

West Valley
La Piazza al Forno
One could make a really strong argument that Justin Piazza’s Food Network-approved VPN palace isn’t just the best pizza restaurant in the West Valley –it’s the best restaurant, period. Piazza also does a terrific Roman-style pizza with facaccia-like crust.
