Pat’s Run
April 11

The Pat Tillman Foundation has been hosting this race for more than 20 years to provide military members with the education and resources they need to become leaders in their professional fields. Support them by joining thousands of runners and walkers on a 4.2-mile course on the streets of Tempe that pays tribute to the local football legend. Arizona Bike Week 2026

Get on your bikes and ride! Cody Jinks and Ted Nugent are scheduled to perform at one of the nation’s largest bike rallies. A recent Netflix doc about the subversive art-rock band from Akron, Ohio, explained that its biggest hit, “Whip It,” had much deeper themes than we let ourselves believe. The lyrics, which many thought were sexual in nature, were a satire of Reagan-era politics inspired by Thomas Pynchon’s Gravity’s Rainbow.
