The bar that put Phoenix on the mixology map is once again pushing the envelope. In October, Bitter & Twisted Cocktail Parlour debuted the Bitter & Twisted Cocktail Club, which gives members perks both logistical and financial.
“We wanted to offer a special experience for cocktail enthusiasts, regulars and business owners who are seeking a consistently high-quality visit to B&T to enjoy a deal during their weekly visits, or entertain clients in a unique way,” owner Ross Simon says. “We took time to listen to what our community is looking for.”
What it’s looking for: discounts and VIP treatment. In both membership tiers – The Enthusiast ($595 annually or $55 monthly) and The Aficionado ($795 annually) – guests get one cocktail per week, priority waitlist experience, 10 percent off cocktail classes and early access to special events. Aficionados will also get 10 percent off their bills during normal visits and 10 percent off venue buyouts/event pricing.
Membership for both tiers is capped, with The Aficionado spots especially limited. Simon says it was fun “creating something uniquely ‘bitter and twisted’ that provides amazing value to our guests and regulars.”
