‘Tis the season for holiday imbibing! Eat, drink and be merry at these four festive pop-up concepts at local bars and restaurants.
Feliz Navidad Cantina at Salt and Lime Modern Mexican Grill
This over-the-top pop-up concept was first introduced last year. It’s even bigger and better in 2021, complete with floor-to-ceiling Christmas decorations, festive food and drinks, servers decked out in holiday garb and weekly visits from Santa and the Grinch. The pop-up will run through early January and offer daily specials on holiday-themed dishes and signature cocktails. The Scottsdale restaurant is a family-friendly venue and kids 12 and under can even enjoy a free meal every Monday with the purchase of an adult entrée. They can also enjoy classic holiday films played throughout the space. This year, Feliz Navidad Cantina is also partnering with Maag Toy Foundation for a special on-site holiday toy drive.

Sippin’ Santa at Bitter & Twisted Cocktail Parlour
The award-winning cocktail lounge will temporarily transform into a winter tiki wonderland for the holiday season. B&T is partnering with renowned tiki expert Jeff “Beachbum” Berry, to develop tropical tipples with a seasonal twist. Now through Christmas Eve, tiki and holiday enthusiasts alike can try such clever cocktails as White Russian Christmas, Azul Navidad, Yule Log Grog, The Regifter and Mistletoe-to-Toe. To implement fair festivities for all, all Sippin’ Santa seating will be first-come, first-served with no advanced reservations available. The bar will also offer exclusive Sippin’ Santa collectable glassware that makes the perfect gift – for you or a loved one.

Miracle at Floor 13 Rooftop Bar
Now in its eighth season, the pop-up that partners with bars and restaurants around the globe to offer craft Christmas cocktails in cheery, holiday-themed settings, is coming to Phoenix. The global phenomenon started in New York City in 2014 and, this year, will be hosted at Floor 13 at the Hilton Garden Inn in Downtown Phoenix. Expect nostalgic holiday décor and seasonally inspired cocktails like the Fruitcake Flip, Bad Santa and Christmas Carol Barrel served in kitschy glassware. The custom, collectable glasses will be available for purchase, with a portion of proceeds benefiting the James Beard Foundation’s Open for Good campaign, a relief effort to aid independent restaurants and bars struggling due to the negative impacts of the coronavirus pandemic.

Blue Blitzen at Blue Hound Kitchen & Cocktails
Throughout the month of December, Hotel Palomar’s signature dining establishment will abound with jolly holiday décor, new Christmas cocktails, food specials and life-size snow globes on the patio. Merry and bright cocktails include a peppermint martini, hot toddy, Nog Wild, Monkey Cider and Santa Wants to Be in Your Chimney, a lively libation that comes in a Santa mug and serves a minimum of four people. The private snow globes are available for up to six guests and include cozy blankets to curl up with, holiday records to spin, two hours of food and beverage service, games and more. A $150 F&B minimum is required for booking.
