Fall is finally here and with it comes seasonal dishes! Here are five brand-new menu items from local restaurants that we can’t wait to try in the next few months.

Smoked Salmon Avocado Toast from North Italia
This healthy brunch dish won’t be available until October, but that won’t stop us from drooling over its decadence. It features avocado, smoked salmon, arugula, basil, watermelon radish and pickled red onion on a slice of grilled ciabatta bread and topped with a drizzle of lemon vinaigrette, caper relish, fresh grated horseradish, Espelette powder and pine nuts. northitalia.com

Butternut Squash and Organic Pear Salad from Flower Child
To celebrate its new Gilbert location, this Valleywide chain is rolling out new menu items for the fall. The one we’re most looking forward to is this vegetarian and gluten-free delight, comprised of Brussels sprouts, arugula, organic kale, candied pecan, ricotta salata, cranberry, puffed wild rice and sherry dressing. iamaflowerchild.com

Cook’s Burger from Mix Up Bar at Royal Palms Resort and Spa
We love a good burger any time of the year, but as the weather cools down, biting into a hot, juicy patty loaded with all the fixins is particularly satisfying. We can’t wait to try this iteration from the new menu at the bar at Royal Palms. Paired with sharp cheddar, red onion, heirloom tomato and garlic aioli on a pretzel bun, it’s sure to be a fall fan favorite. royalpalmshotel.com

Caramel Apple Cheesecake from Grimaldi’s Pizzeria
Pumpkin spice, who? Grimaldi’s is going the extra mile this fall and introducing flavors that go beyond the basics. Available now through December 6, the famed pizzeria is bringing the cozy fall vibes with buffalo chicken pizza, green apple sangria and chocolate cheesecake. We’re particularly stoked for the caramel apple version with rich caramel, diced green apple and a cinnamon sugar cookie crust. If that doesn’t scream “FALL!” we don’t know what does. grimaldispizzeria.com

“Trust the Team” from Blue Hound Kitchen and Cocktails at Hotel Palomar
Instead of just one dish at the reimagined restaurant (new chef, new menu), we’ll take a five-course meal, please. That’s the idea with Blue Hound’s new culinary adventure, where the culinary team whips up a surprise feast with optional wine and craft cocktail pairings. Anything from charred octopus and Faroe Island salmon to the “Pasta of the Moment” might arrive at your table, but whatever it is, we reckon it’s bound to be delicious. bluehoundkitchen.com
