“Doing it for the ’gram” usually means art-directing a photograph of your dinner or taking a picturesque hike for epic selfies to post on Instagram. For its West Hollywood shop, New York City-based direct-to-consumer cosmetics line Glossier sent a team member all the way to Antelope Canyon to record ambient sounds for the ’gram. Glossier LA was “inspired by the idea of escaping the city and driving through the California desert,” according to a spokesperson.
