Closing

After 13 years in Queen Creek, Casa de Mina has shut its doors.

Early Bird Vegan in Tempe has closed, but the owners are looking for a new location.

Fez in Downtown Phoenix has closed after two decades, according to the restaurant’s Facebook page. No reason was given for the closure.

Frank & Lupe’s, a Scottsdale institution for more than 30 years, has shuttered and will be replaced by The Ponderosa House from the owner of Karsen’s Grill.

Fratelli la Bufala in Scottsdale’s McCormick Ranch has closed and will reopen as DiMaggio’s Italian Restaurant.

The Genuine, flagship of Genuine Concepts (The Vig, The Womack, Campo Italian Bistro & Bar), has closed. According to The Genuine’s Instagram page, “an innovative and excellent local hospitality company will be buying the building from us and bringing an all-new concept to the ‘hood.”

The Market by Jennifer’s is no longer open for daily service. In early 2026, Jennifer Russo and Jason Asher will collaborate on a new venture, Hornbill, focusing on the cocktails and street food of Singapore.

The Quartz Lounge, a Downtown Phoenix favorite, has closed its doors after two years.

Tempe’s SakeBomber Sushi & Grill has shuttered after 18 years with no explanation.
