Every week, we present a curated list of live music in a wide range of genres around the Valley. This week’s column features two country music stars.

June 4
Goose
The jam band, celebrating its formation more than a decade ago, will perform new material from its latest album, Everything Must Go. 7:30 p.m. Check website for ticket prices. Arizona Financial Theatre, 400 W. Washington St., Phoenix, 602-514-2919, livenation.com

June 4
Sunflower Bean
Having started in 2013 when they were teenagers, the Brooklyn psych-rock trio has finally figured out who they are as humans and musicians. Their fourth album, Mortal Primetime, documents that realization. It is somehow both slick and authentic, especially on the track “Nothing Romantic.” It has blistering guitar riffs inspired by the work of Black Sabbath, with vocals that capture the yearning of not wanting to be “sitting at the bar drinking alone.” Ozzy would approve. 8 p.m., $18-$23, Valley Bar, 130 N. Central Ave., Phoenix, valleybarphx.com

June 5
Brad Paisley
The “Mud On the Tires” singer is taking his country music contemporary Walker Hayes on tour for the Truck Still Works World Tour. 7:30 p.m. Check website for ticket prices. Arizona Financial Theatre, 400 W. Washington St., Phoenix, 602-514-2919, livenation.com

June 6
Orkesta Mendoza
When you see this six-piece Tucson-based band, be sure to wear the proper footwear, as its show promises to be an energetic and lively experience. Its music is influenced by mambo and other sounds from across the southern border, with a rock edge that can only come from Arizona. 7 p.m., $25, Valley Bar, 130 N. Central Ave., Phoenix, valleybarphx.com

June 8
Tyler Childers
Fans of the “Whitehouse Road” singer have said they’re a little puzzled with the decor that adorns the stage of the country artist’s latest tour, from the odd taxidermy to the nature-inspired backdrop. But even if the visuals seem a little peculiar, Childers proves that his breakthrough album Purgatory was no fluke. 8 p.m. Check website for ticket prices. Talking Stick Resort Amphitheatre, 2121 N. 83rd Ave., Phoenix, 602-254-7200, livenation.com
