Ever dreamed of indulging in the glamour of the storied Orient Express? With the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express, you can turn your literary fantasy into reality. The newest line from luxury rail operator Belmond is set to debut this March with itineraries transporting guests to some of Europe’s most captivating cities: Venice, Verona, Rome, Innsbruck, Prague, Vienna, Stockholm, Berlin and more.

Also new: Belmond’s first artist-designed carriage, a collaboration with Parisian photographer and street artist JR. “His love for the rails, rooted in childhood memories, combined with his Parisian art studio’s aesthetic, has shaped the design of L’Observatoire,” vice president of trains and cruises Gary Franklin says of JR’s train car. “Inspired by classic craftsmanship, astronomical observatories and the grandeur of Renaissance Europe, this carriage embodies the spirit of discovery and refinement that defines our train.” Stays range from one to several days, with the classic and most popular route between London and Venice lasting two. Prices start at $3,600 per person for a twin cabin. The ultimate indulgence of a grand suite begins at $10,350 per person. The Venice Simplon-Orient-Express operates from March to November. belmond.com
