With its Mesa location opening this spring, everyone’s favorite “neighborhood restaurant” will make its East Valley debut. Head to whichever VIG’s in your ’hood for sliders ($6-$7), tacos ($6) and the insane goat cheese dip that comes with the truffle-parmesan fries ($9). Check for fun daily specials, too. Citizen Public House

Chef Bernie Kantak’s social hour boasts a streamlined list of CPH faves: bacon fat popcorn ($4), rosemary roasted nuts ($4) and creamy beer fondue ($8).
