Known for housing the local high school hall of fame, Backwoods recently remodeled its dining room – now the Longhorn Legends room – to continue to highlight the accomplishments of local athletes and scholars.
Amidst pine trees and a breathtaking view of the Mogollon Rim, The Fairways restaurant is located on the town’s lone public golf course, Payson Golf Club. The eatery is one of the newest additions to come with the beloved course’s recent renovation, offering members classic diner dishes (eggs, burritos, sandwiches and burgers) for breakfast and lunch.
