Think of the TPC Scottsdale – the longtime home of the Waste Management Phoenix Open – as a 36-hole progress piece, always growing and evolving to enhance the fan experience. Here are a few new upgrades for the 2023 tournament.

Concert at the Coliseum

The fabled 16th Hole gets even more fabulous with this pre-tournament concert on Wednesday, February 8. Watch from the 12,000-person grandstand as alt-pop mainstays Maroon 5 kick off the tournament with a 21-and-over show in the middle of the fairway.

New, Improved Fan Zone

Sponsored by Talking Stick Resort, the always-popular Fan Zone is geting a major refresh, including a new merchandise tent: 25,000 square feet of shopping area where fans can pick up everything from logoed golf balls and hats to shirts, pants and golf accessories. The food options are plentiful as ever.

Wider Walkways, More TVs

A more expansive space throughout allows for less bustle and more shaded areas to sit, more room to walk or grab drinks with friends, better views of the 10th tee, and video boards so fans won’t miss any golf shots while devouring food and drinks from local restaurants.

Taylor Morrison Fairway House

Formerly the Ridge at 12, this general-admission trifecta viewing spot (it overlooks the 12th hole, No. 6 green and the No. 13 tee) gets rebranded more often than Ak-Chin Pavilion. What hasn’t changed: the awesome 36,000-square-foot viewing platform and copious food options.
