Chuck Frerichs is the store manager at 84 Lumber’s Chandler location. His professional experience, spanning over three decades, makes him the best in the business and one of 84 Lumber’s strongest managers. Chuck is no stranger to hard work. You will find him not only in the store assisting customers and managing an elite staff of knowledgeable individuals, but also in the yard lending a hand wherever necessary. From sunrise to sunset, Chuck and his team are dedicated to providing the Chandler community with top-notch service and quality building materials. “It’s our people,” says Frerichs “that make 84 so special.” Our associates are here to help our customers find the best product to get the job done right.”
Chuck started with 84 Lumber at the Chaffee, NY store. He was quickly promoted to Co-Manager in Niagara Falls, NY and went on to manage the Elma, NY and Depew, NY stores before moving out West to open the Chandler, AZ store in 2005.
“As much as I enjoyed New York, the Arizona market was new to 84 in 2005. The opportunity arose to open a brand-new store in Chandler, and I couldn’t pass it up. I wanted to be a part of building something new that would become a staple in the community,” says Frerichs. Almost two decades later, Frerichs continues to manage the store with just as much vigor, commitment, and passion as he did when it first opened. “Our hope is to serve the Chandler area for many years to come and to provide a quality experience for all of our customers,” Frerichs declares.
