Chip Mulala – self-proclaimed “minister of craft beer” and director of operations for Huss Brewing Co. – is part beer evangelist, part business manager. That’s why he carries around two backpacks each day when he crisscrosses the Valley spreading the beer gospel to potential clients: a small, insulated pack filled with assorted brews, and a bigger backpack full of all his managerial essentials. “I mean, we’re in the beer business,” Mulala says. “That means beer and business.”
