They call him the Minister of Craft Beer, perhaps the most envious job title in Valley dining. Huss Brewing’s Chip Mulala joins us on this episode of Desert Digest to discuss the latest news in Valley dining.

News items include:
Arizona Restaurant Week and the new Oktoberfest menu at Huss Brewing
-New location for Ingo’s Tasty Food in downtown Phoenix
-New Tempe location for Taco Boys
-New bottle shop Vanilla Gorilla opening in Scottsdale next to Hush Public House
-Famed New York and Las Vegas cocktail bar Ghost Donkey opening along Roosevelt Row
Restaurant Progress owners opening new spot on Roosevelt Row

Mulala got his start at SanTan Brewing in Chandler in the 2000’s before moving on to Huss in 2015. The Minister sheds some light on what’s new at Huss, the likely return of beer festivals in 2022 and the upcoming release of Huss’ first non-beer brewed product called Arizona Ranch Water, an agave-based hard seltzer.

Huss recently released Papago Cherry Blossom wheat beer, a spin-off of its perpetual favorite Orange Blossom. Look for its new Tuxedo Interview NEIPA collaboration with Simple Machine Brewing coming out on Friday, September 17.
