Melissa Maggiore, of the famed local dining powerhouse Maggiore family, joins PHOENIX Editor-in-Chief Craig Outhier and Managing Editor Leah LeMoine on this latest episode of the Desert Digest podcast.
Maggiore plans to open The Italian Daughter restaurant in Scottsdale later this month in honor of her late father Tomaso. She recently moved to Arizona after nearly three decades of restaurant ownership in Southern California. Maggiore’s family restaurant group is best known for Tomaso’s Italian Restaurant in the Camelback Corridor, The Sicilian Butcher, The Sicilian Baker and Hash Kitchen.
Craig, Leah and Melissa react to recent news of reopenings, closings, and rebrandings in the Valley dining industry, including big changes for Chase Field eateries this season.
