Here is a trio of regular virtual happy hours that offer camaraderie, entertainment and an alcoholic education by some of the best bartenders in town – and you don’t even have to get up.

Marshall Shore’s History Happy Hours
“Arizona’s Hip Historian,” Marshall Shore, hosts this weekly happy hour filled with fun Arizona history trivia, tidbits from the state’s past, a view from the “Hist-O-Cam,” lively conversations with guests such as Valley drag performance legend Pussy Le Hoot and representatives of the Heard Museum and Junior League of Phoenix. Did we mention there’s also a cocktail recipe? Happy hours usually take place at 7 p.m. on Thursdays live on Facebook, but check Shore’s Facebook page for details.

Happy Hour with the Irish Cultural Center
You don’t need to be Irish to enjoy a few drinks with the folks from the temporarily closed Irish Community Center. So, grab a Guinness (or a White Claw or whatever you’re drinking) and enter the Zoom room every other Thursday at 4 p.m. (the next virtual happy hour is July 9). Visit The Irish Cultural Center Facebook page for more info.

UnderTow Lounge Virtual Happy Hours
UnderTow owner Jason Asher and Century Grand owner Rich Furnari shake things up with a joint happy hour co-hosted by other bartenders, distillers and brand ambassadors. Throughout the Saturday afternoon cyber-soirees, the pair share their favorite products and offer cocktail demos and recipes. The next event takes place at 2 p.m. on July 4. Visit the UnderTow Facebook page for more dates.
