Where to Get the Coziest Meals in the Valley

After a few days of drizzle this December, I was ready to neglect the Trader Joe’s frozen meals sitting in my fridge and drop $20+ on a Postmates delivery. I decided to turn to the holy grail of recommendations, the Instagram Story question feature, for some cozy suggestions. Readers, I was not disappointed.

Here are some of the places I was directed to cozy up with:

Phở at Phở Thành
By far one of the most recommended things were a) Pho and b) Pho from Pho Thanh. Based on my research, it’s a family-owned restaurant with rave reviews across the internet.

Pad Thai at Thai E-San
Want to know a well-kept Phoenix secret? We have a lot of great Thai food here. If you have a craving for some spicy noodles, I’d highly suggest heading to Thai E-San for their lunch special.

Mac and Cheese at Lux
I’ve written about this mac and cheese before, but the good people of Instagram have confirmed this is the ultimate local comfort food. Try the pesto or jalapeño and bacon version to mix things up!

Churchill Grilled Cheese at Angel’s Trumpet Ale House
The first time I ever had this grilled cheese I wasn’t even able to legally drink, but I kept coming back for it during the chilly winter months anyways. Please invest $1 into adding bacon jam, you won’t regret it.
