All-day activities abound at northern Gila County’s premier annual gathering of countrified charm, including a local carnival, junior livestock auctions, flat track racing, a ranch rodeo, local art exhibits and plenty of rides (pictured below). September 5-8.
Payson Old Time Fiddlers Contest & Acoustic Celebration
Celebrate bluegrass and fiddle communities with live music from local artists. Cap the fiddlin’ fun with the fiddle state championship. September 27-29.

Four local businesses come together each month and give away prizes to lucky winners on the Adventure Payson Facebook page. Prizes vary from gift vouchers to two-night stays at local hotels or casinos.
