The Taco Takeover–The Clayton House, in Scottsdale, will be hosting the 1st Annual Cuervo Tradicional Taco Takeover and Cocktail Competition featuring 10+ chefs creating inspired tacos and new takes onclassic Mexican dishes. It will also feature live music, games and tequila tasting stations. Guests can choose from two sessions at 3pm or 7pm over the course of the day. Early bird pricing begins at $39 for a limited time only and includes unlimited access to tacos, cocktails and beer. Early Access tickets start at $49 and VIP tickets start at $69, guaranteeing guests a half-hour early entry and access to a sweet lounge with a Cuervo Tradicional Paloma bar, churro station, and a queso fountain. If you want to cannonball into a mountain of tacos, this might be your festival.

Beats and Brunch–If you love that time between breakfast and lunch, then this may just be an event for you. In September, Beats and Brunch, hosted by Chocolate Volcano 

LLC, comes to Phoenix. At this fest, one can enjoy classic twists on brunch favorites from around the Valley while viewing wonderfully interactive art pieces at the same time. Also, the event will include a DJ, mimosas and a bloody mary bar to highlight your brunch feast. At $10 a person, you might wan tto prepare your stomach for the best breakfast-lunch mix ever,

Taste of the Town–Love some food and some philanthropy? Well, the Muscular Dystrophy Association and CIGNA

are hosting the Taste of the Town at Scottsdale Quarter. Taste of the Town is an event which gathers food and drink from more than 30 of the best restaurants in the Valley. It is a night of tasting and socializing under the banner of charity. Plus, a live band will highlight the event’s proceedings. Tickets are $65 with the proceeds benefiting several hundred families affected by muscular disease. Head out and help out!

Gelato Festival Scottsdale–We all love Italian delights. Gelato Festival America is hosting an event in Scottsdale featuring some of the top gelato chefs in the 

nation. Guests not only get to enjoy several gelatos, but also see the technique and artistry behind the creation of some of America’s best gelato from mini-classes and cooking demos. Families are welcome to experience a small taste of Italy with the chilly and yummy dessert. Ticket prices go up to $30. Prepare your wallet, and your mouth, from something sweet.

The Mac and Cheese Festival–For our cheese enthusiasts, the Second Annual Mac & Cheese 

MacCheeseFestFestival is coming to the Valley. The festival offers numerous and inventive variations of the beloved dish from 35 of the Valley’s top restaurants and some local brews to wash it all down. Also, the event contains a Game Central with ping pong, giant Jenga and bags. VIP for the event is all sold out, so if you want a ticket, you should move fast. The opportunity to claim tickets during the Mac and Cheese tease week from July 14th to July 21st is part of a special National Mac & Cheese Day promotion, tickets are $15 for general admission.

Kung Food Fest–Asian Food-lovers, rejoice! The Kung Food Fest, the Asian street food festival, is heading to Heritage Square in Phoenix. From an array of 20 restaurants and food trucks, guests can try a variety of

delicious, modern Asian cuisine made as street fare including favorites like pho, dumplings, stir fry, wontons and Asian tacos. Tickets are $10 online and $15 at the gate while kids under 12 enter free! Taste the flavors of the East under the Southwestern sun.
