Cabo Cab-O?
Go wine-tasting in the land of Sammy Hagar and tequila body shots? Evidently, it’s muy posible. The Grand Velas Los Cabos resort now offers the Over-The-Top Wine Lovers’ Getaway package, which includes dinner with the resort’s resident Michelin-starred chef Sidney Schutte, plus visits to local wineries like Vinas de Garza and D’Poncelis. The cost: a cool $26,650 per couple. Or you could stay at the Marriott and visit the wineries on your own. Just sayin’. loscabos.grandvelas.com

University of Phoenix B&B
Finally, Glendale is getting its own boutique hotel. The 100-room Aloft Hotel is due to open in Summer 2018 in the Westgate Entertainment District, right under the monolithic gaze of Gila River Arena. Design-wise, it looks a little like an upscale orthopedic hospital… but when in Rome, no? starwoodhotels.com/alofthotels

Don’t Be a Crater Hater
Looking for something to do in Rocky Point this fall besides, you know, sipping on cheap drinks and zoning out on sherbet-hued sunsets? The Puerto Penasco Tourism Board suggests checking out the area’s trio of phreatomagmatic depressions: El Elegante Crater, El Tecolote and Cerro Colorado Crater. Evidently, NASA sent astronauts to the craters in the 1970s to train for lunar missions. Deep, man. cometorockypoint.com
