When Elisabeth and Philip Haugan of Prescott decided to carry the American flag up to Flagstaff’s Humphreys Peak on July 4, 2015, it marked the beginning of an annual patriotic statement. “We plan to do it again this year and annually on the 4th of July,” Elisabeth says.
