Highlights of the free festival this year include the Phoenix Mural Project, an interactive community art project led by local artist Hugo Medina. Fest guests are encouraged to paint alongside the Valley’s renowned creatives.
Entertainment runs the gamut from the Jamaican folk poetry and music of Marcus Wright and the acoustic stylings of The Bittersweet Way to a short-film festival, storytelling and dance. Food trucks will be on hand to fill growling bellys, and Hensley Beverage Company will present a beer and wine garden.
