Popular ridesharing app Lyft recently announced the winners of its fifth annual Lyftie Awards, which recognize the top destinations in cities across the country.
This year, the Lyfties expanded to more than 50 new markets, including Phoenix. The Melrose District won the award for “Best Late-Night Neighborhood,” while Talking Stick Resort Arena was recognized as the “Most Celebrated Venue” and Clubhouse at MĀYĀ won “Most Celebrated Bar/Restaurant.”
“Lyft believes in improving the lives of our communities and this year, we’re proud to celebrate the businesses, drivers and different modes of transportation that makes each of our cities special,” says Drena Kusari, regional director of Lyft’s Southwest region. “We know that the backbone of our communities rely on people and ways they’re connected to thrive. We look forward to championing Phoenix’s winners for the fifth year in a row and providing reliable, affordable transportation.”
