Shakira

After receiving a diagnosis of inclusion body myositis, a progressive muscle disease, the former member of the blues band Humble Pie and the singer-songwriter of “Baby, I Love Your Way” announced his retirement from touring in 2019. But surprisingly, the rock icon behind Frampton Comes Alive!, one of the best-selling live albums in history, never followed through. When making up some performances canceled due to the pandemic a few years later, he discovered that with some adjustments, he was still able to play his guitar with the same fervor as before, so he revamped his stage show and still continues to perform. Clint Black
Largely overshadowed by his contemporaries Alan Jackson and Garth Brooks, Clint Black was one of the artists responsible for country music’s resurgence in the early ’90s thanks to the hits “Like The Rain” and “Nobody’s Home.” More than 30 years later, the singer-songwriter is back in the spotlight for his Back On the Blacktop tour. 8 p.m. Check website for ticket prices. Chelo
Known in Mexico as the queen of ranchera music, the 81-year-old Chelo, who was the first Mexican to be nominated for a Grammy, has recorded more than 70 albums and acted in numerous movies. Lisa Lisa 40th Anniversary
There’s no school like the old school, and this concert is a testament to that. To celebrate four decades in music, the legendary Latin singer Lisa Velez, best known as the leader of the iconic ’80s dance group Lisa Lisa and Cult Jam (“All Cried Out”), is embarking on a tour with Tag Team, Montell Jordan, Rob Base and Exposé. 7:30 p.m. Check website for ticket prices.
