No more CitySkate – the holiday ice rink popped up for the last time in 2022 – but CityScape still offers plenty of diversions this November and December. Located in the heart of Downtown Phoenix, the mixed-use complex and its environs boast a vibrant mix of dining, shopping, entertainment, community events and more. Before RED Development began transforming the block in 2010, it housed parking structures on what was historically a residential district for early Phoenix’s train yards.

Coabana

This Cuban-inspired cocktail and tapas lounge from mixologist Kyla Hein (see The Great 48, page 92) transports you to the soulful streets of Havana. Enjoy traditional bites like guava and cheese empanadas and Cubano nachos paired with cocteles like El Colibri, made with Oaxacan rum, Madeira and hibiscus cordial.
