Every week, we present a curated list of live music in a wide range of genres all around the Valley, and this week’s column features legends.
June 29
Tuck and Patti
The legendary duo of guitarist Tuck Andress and vocalist Patti Cathcart beautifully interpret classical, folk and rock standards, which have led them to tour with jazz royalty, including Miles Davis, Count Basie, George Benson, Chick Corea and Herbie Hancock, and received glowing endorsements from their peers, including Bobby McFerrin. 7:30 p.m., $44.50–$49.50, Musical Instrument Museum, 4725 E. Mayo Blvd., Phoenix, 480-478-6000, mim.org
June 30
Logic
You don’t often hear about rappers looking to the ’50s for inspiration, but maybe that’s one of the reasons why Logic is such a divisive figure in the hip-hop community. The “Sucker For Pain” artist’s mother would make him watch old Sinatra movies, which led to him forming his own “RattPack.” 8 p.m., $49.50-$65, Arizona Financial Theatre, 400 W. Washington St., Phoenix, 602-514-2919, livenation.com

Fall Out Boy
The emo band’s first studio album came out 20 years ago. Maybe that’s why when the “Dance, Dance” group’s latest release, So Much (For) Stardust, was heralded as a return to form, it felt like a full-circle moment for fans, which makes this tour an opportunity for everyone to celebrate. 6:30 p.m. Check website for ticket prices. Talking Stick Resort Amphitheatre, 2121 N. 83rd Ave., Phoenix, 602-254-7200, livenation.com
July 1
Kelsea Ballerini
The Tennessee-based singer, known for her hit “Miss Me More,” has taken country music by storm. Ironically, she didn’t listen to much country music growing up but enjoyed hits from Britney Spears, Justin Bieber, and NSYNC. It wasn’t until she heard Keith Urban that she pivoted to her chosen genre. 8 p.m., $39.50-$69.50, Arizona Financial Theatre, 400 W. Washington St., Phoenix, 602-514-2919, livenation.com
July 2
Pierce The Veil and The Used
Emo is back, but critics have noted that Pierce the Veil never left. The trio continues to grow and mature, with their latest album, The Jaws of Life, receiving some of the best nods of their career. 6:30 p.m., $40.50-$70.50, Arizona Financial Theatre, 400 W. Washington St., Phoenix, 602-514-2919, livenation.com
