3. Don’t Get Braids After a Hair Relaxation Treatment

4. Your Braids Should Not Be Painfully Tight
If you’re in pain, let your stylist know! “Braids should feel comfortable once they’re finished,” says Higgins. “I ask my clients to let me know if they are feeling uncomfortable and I will make adjustments, but the braids will begin loosening up in about two days.”
