Self-taught songstress and rhythm guitarist Haley Green grew up on reggae and rock, but she never planned on performing it full-time. “Before I even knew I would touch a guitar or sing, that was just a huge part of my life – music all the time,” she says. The Cave Creek native started playing guitar at 14 and formed her first band at 21. “For 13 years, I slowly picked up more gigs,” she says. “After COVID, I got busy enough that I just didn’t get another job… and shifted into gigging full-time.” Today, she performs four to six times a week at Valley resorts, restaurants and events, blending blues, folk and reggae into a signature sound she describes as “if Amy Winehouse and Jack Johnson had a baby that grew up on Grateful Dead and Bob Marley.”
