The party never ends when “The Greatest Show on Grass” comes to town. The WM Phoenix Open lets fans and players cut loose with top musicians at the Coors Light Birds Nest (February 4-7) across the street from TPC Scottsdale. Fans can also start getting down early at the Concert in the Coliseum, a pre-tournament show at the 16th hole, on January 31. Here’s a quick rundown of what to expect in 2026.

Concert in the Coliseum

The Killers
Saturday, January 31

It’s hard to believe that “Mr. Brightside” topped the charts more than 20 years ago, and The Killers have evolved considerably since their breakthrough. Starting out as heirs to Duran Duran’s ’80s art-pop throne, the Las Vegas group transitioned into Springsteen-worshipping arena rockers with hits like “Read My Mind” and “A Dustland Fairytale.”

You Might Like If: You’re a fan of Tony Finau, who, like The Killers lead singer Brandon Flowers, is a practicing member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Wednesday

Bailey Zimmerman with Chase Matthew

Rising country rocker Zimmerman says he’s turned a new leaf since his drunken-debacle performance at Luke Bryan’s Crash My Playa Festival in Cancún, Mexico, in January 2025. After performing at the Birds Nest, the 25-year-old “All the Way” singer will embark on his first headlining arena tour.

You Might Like If: Having a good time in Mexico is your jam, à la Ben Griffin, who won the World Wide Technology Championship in Cabo San Lucas this year.

Thursday

Zach Top with Ernest

With instant barroom classics like “Sounds Like the Radio,” bluegrass sensation Top has quickly risen through the Nashville ranks to be one of country’s top stars – and he’s got the 2025 New Male Artist of the Year award from the Academy of Country Music to prove it. The opener, Ernest, is also a country musician – not the “Hey, Vern” one.

You Might Like If: You’re a fan of talented upstarts like Sweden’s Ludvig Åberg, considered by many to be golf’s next big thing.

Friday

Nelly and Ludacris with Ja Rule

The merging of hip-hop and country music may be trendy now, but Nelly may have been the first to do it with “Over and Over,” his 2004 hit with Tim McGraw. The rapper will co-headline with sometime State Farm TV pitchman Ludacris, with gravel-voiced East Coast hip-hopper Ja Rule opening.

You Might Like If: You admire bold career-pivoters like Brooks Koepka. Just as Nelly dipped his toe into country, baseball was
Koepka’s first love.

Saturday

John Summit with Bunt

The Birds Nest is the ideal spot for a DJ set, though it might feel a bit intimate for Summit. Since “Deep End” became a hit five years ago, he went from playing dance clubs to spinning for large crowds at Madison Square Garden and Coachella.

You Might Like If: You’re a fan of Chris Roberts, who moonlights with international DJ gigs when he’s not golfing on the PGA Tour.

If You Go:

  • Where: TPC 16th hole (Saturday) and Coors Light Birds Nest tent near the main entrance (Thursday-Saturday)
  • When: February 4-7. Doors open at 3:30 p.m.
  • How much: GA, $140 and up; VIP, $325 and up
  • Info: wmphoenixopen.com
  • DO double-check the schedule. You don’t want to be a Ludacris fan and show up the night Zach Top is headlining.
  • DO consider buying a VIP ticket if you covet a spot in the pit in front of the stage. Costly? Yes ($325+), but it includes food and drinks… and room for country dancing to Bailey Zimmerman.
  • DO have patience when you head in there – you’ll be joined by up to 10,000 of your closest friends.
  • DON’T forget your ID. You won’t get in without one. No matter how old you are. Seriously.
  • DON’T drive home. Uber and Lyft pickup points are located right behind the Birds Nest.
  • DON’T ask your Thunderbird friend for free tickets. They have to pay for their tickets like everyone else, and are not issued freebies.
