Inspired by her hearing loss, the alternative rock musician transformed six songs from her extremely loud 2023 album MONO and gave them softer arrangements. The resulting EP is titled I’m Making Friends With The Silence. 8 p.m. Check website for ticket prices. The Van Buren, 401 W. Van Buren St., Phoenix, 480-659-1641, livenation.com

March 30
Danzig
More than two decades after it happened, fans and foes of Glenn Danzig still tell the story of the moment when Danny Marianino of the local group North Side Kings cold-cocked him in Tuba City. The punch occurred after the horror-punk icon closed the show early, not allowing the other bands on the bill to play. Here’s hoping history doesn’t repeat. 6 p.m. Check website for ticket prices. Arizona Financial Theatre, 400 W. Washington St., Phoenix, 602-514-2919, livenation.com
