I Love the ’90s Tour
The trio of artists headlining this tour are some of the unsung heroes of hip-hop. Rob Base made up half of the duo behind the party staple “It Takes Two,” and Montell Jordan is the voice behind another unforgettable R&B track, “This Is How We Do It.” However, the real attraction is actor/reality star/rapper Robert Van Winkle, a.k.a. Vanilla Ice, who has the distinction of being the first hip-hop artist to reach the top of the charts with the hit single “Ice Ice Baby.”  7 p.m., $20-$100 (fair admission included), Arizona Veterans Memorial Coliseum, 1826 W. McDowell Rd., Phoenix, azstatefair.com

Nightmare on Cube Street
Speaking of ’90s hip-hop, Ice Cube, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Ginuwine, and the Ying Yang Twins are scheduled to perform at this arena show. To paraphrase one of the Friday actor’s signature tracks, consider it a good day if you can snag a seat. 7:30 p.m. Check website for ticket prices. Footprint Center, 201 E.
