3 Watch-Party Prospects

Our picks for a fun place to watch the semifinals (April 6) and championship game (April 8).

  • Margaret T. Hance Park

Site of the March Madness Music Festival (see page 242), the Downtown park and event space will also host the Valley’s biggest watch party outside of State Farm Stadium, with giant TVs bringing the action to thousands of fans in a high-energy outdoor scene.

  • Caesars Sportsbook & Guy Fieri’s DTPHX Kitchen + Bar

Adjacent to Chase Field in Downtown Phoenix, this two-story, 22,300-square-foot temple of excess has everything you need for a well-rounded Final Four bacchanal. Sports wagering? Check. Blissfully unhealthy bar grub? Check. Jumbotron TV? We think. mlb.com/dbacks/ballpark/guy-fieri-kitchen-bar

  • Linger Longer Lounge

The Valley has fan-aligned sports bars for virtually every top March Madness team you can imagine: Duke Blue Devil bars, UConn Husky bars, etc. But since this issue went to press four weeks before the Final Four lineup was set, forecasting the perfect game-day fan bar was tricky. So, we’ll go with this North-Central Phoenix watering hole – a favorite of Arizona Wildcat faithful. Given the team’s No. 5 national ranking (circa late February), it could be the perfect place to take in the Final Four. lingerlongerlounge.com
