The NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament Final Four may be the main sporting event during the first weekend in April, but the excitement doesn’t stop there. The 2024 NCAA March Madness Music Festival, an extravaganza of national musical acts, will be lighting up Downtown Phoenix at Margaret T. Hance Park from April 5 to 7. Each day promises a unique musical experience with something for every music enthusiast.
The show starts on Friday afternoon with the AT&T Block Party. Singer-songwriter and former American Idol contestant Remi Wolf, known for the soulful throwback single “Prescription,” will take the stage at 4:30 p.m. She will be followed by pop star Reneé Rapp, who recently appeared on the big screen as the Plastics queen bee Regina George in the Mean Girls remake. Zedd, the Grammy-award-winning artist behind the hit techno anthem “Clarity,” will close out the evening. An exclusive perk for AT&T customers is the AT&T Fast Pass Lane, which allows them to skip the line by simply showing the company’s icon on their phone screen.
The gates open at 3 p.m. on Saturday if you want to catch The Jonas Brothers performance at the Coke Studio Live. However, if you’re tired of hearing their hit single “Waffle House,” you can create your own track at the show. The Coke AI Studio offers an interactive experience where you can form a music group, write a song and film a video with some assistance from state-of-the-art technology.
The grand finale is on Sunday with the Capital One Jam Fest, and the lineup is pretty stacked. Acclaimed R&B artist Leon Bridges will kick things off at 2:30 p.m., followed by Nathaniel Rateliff and The Night Sweats. You’ll be howlin’ for “Lonely Boy” rockers The Black Keys, and folk-rockers Mumford and Sons will cap off the fantastic weekend.
If you can’t attend the show on Friday or Saturday, you can catch a stream of performances at ncaa.org. Select Capital One cardholders can access special offers for Sunday’s performances. For more details, visit ncaa.com/marchmadness/musicfest.
