Tobias Jens Forge, the masked leader of the Swedish doom metal band, started his first band as a teen. The group’s recent output has us scratching our heads. Then there’s the single “Stay,” which plays in the latest chapter in the Insidious horror film franchise. The cover features vocals from the film’s star, Patrick Wilson. 7:30 p.m., $29.50-$149.50, Talking Stick Resort Amphitheatre, 2121 N. 83rd Ave., Phoenix, 602-254-7200, livenation.com

The three main vocalists of the popular a capella group, Scott Hoying, Mitch Grassi and Kirstin Maldonado, were performers in their high school choir before competing in The Sing-Off, the reality show that launched them into stardom. As fans await yet another holiday album from the group, they’re on the road performing their impressive vocal covers of hits past and present. 8 p.m., $29.50-$129.50, Talking Stick Resort Amphitheatre, 2121 N. 83rd Ave., Phoenix, 602-254-7200, livenation.com
