July 19 

Tori Amos 

Tori Amos’ breakthrough album Little Earthquakes recounts the red-haired singer’s strict religious upbringing, sexual awakening and the traumatizing assault as described in the single Silent All These Years.” Expect an emotional performance when she steps up to the piano bench, along with other hits from her long and varied career. 7:30 p.m., $48-$102, Ikeda Theater at Mesa Arts Center, 1 E. July 19-20 

Morgan Wallen 

The “Whiskey Glasses” singer has come a long way since he was a contestant on the singing competition show The Voice in 2014. July 22 

Sister Sledge 

The death of singer and Phoenix resident Joni Sledge, a founding member of the “We Are Family” group and aunt to Phoenix Afrobeat Orchestra’s Camille Sledge, hit the music world hard. July 23 

Diana Krall 

The sultry Canadian vocalist, who has broken manyrecords on Billboard’s jazz chart, constantly redefines what jazz is by making popular songs her own, whether it’s a standard by Bob Dylan or one of her husband Elvis Costello’s songs. 7:30 p.m., $48-$163, Ikeda Theater at Mesa Arts Center, 1 E. July 23 

George Thorogood and the Destroyers 

The “Bad to the Bone” singer almost didn’t make it on tour this year. The guitarist is celebrating a half-century of playing music but had to cancel some dates to recover from a “very serious medical condition,” per his Facebook page.
