Tito Muñoz is a conductor on the go. The director of The Phoenix Symphony conducts all over the world – The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra in Minnesota, Utah Symphony in Salt Lake City, Mahler Chamber Orchestra in Germany and São Paulo State Symphony in Brazil, to name a few. Wherever he goes, Muñoz brings a carry-on-ready backpack with all his necessities. “I conduct all over the place. I have to kind of keep a very compact [backpack],” he says. “I have to just make sure I can bring it with me and it’s all in one thing.” Muñoz let us peek into his pack.
