We couldn’t have designed a better local beer, wine and snack shop ourselves: dozens of craft beer options, a deep wine cellar, scads of local snacks (Kettle Heroes popcorn, Audrey’s Chia Cookies, Nut Sack spiced nut mixes and Noble Bread, to name a few), a bounty of cheese and a cornucopia of charcuterie. Did we mention they deliver to select parts of the Valley?

Blue Sky Organic Farms

Under the green thumb of farmer David Vose, Blue Sky grows prized produce. The on-site farm store stocks seasonal staples like golden beets, purple cabbage, heirloom radishes and all manner of greens. The shop also carries artisanal products (Hope’s Artisan Bread, Crow’s Dairy cheese) and its own jams, pesto and other prepared foods.
Chadwick’s Urban Market

This charmer is the perfect hub for a neighborhood that lacks a casual hangout and a supermarket. But don’t mistake Chadwick’s for your typical grocery store. This delightful market has coffee, breakfast and lunch, wine and beer (to drink and take away) provisions for a picnic and a slew of local products. There’s a lot packed into a tight space, but it works. There are coolers filled with cheeses and meats, shelves lined with local pantry staples (think Hayden Flour Mills, SaraBea Granola and The Proper Beast sausages), produce from local farms, a beer and wine bar, indoor and outdoor seating and a tidy kitchen that puts out a substantial amount of food.
La Grande Orange Grocery

The iconic flagship of LGO Hospitality includes a general store and bakery attached to La Grande Orange Pizzeria. Look for morning buns, croissants, brownies, cookies, pie and LGO’s signature house-made English muffins. Candles and giftable sundries make it a one-stop shop for food and fun.
Main Street Harvest

At this tiny grocery, the stock changes all the time. John Przybyl and Amanda Abou-Eid source from dozens of artisans, just a few units from each at a time. Inside: a wonderland of fresh pasta, farm produce, jams, bean-to-bar chocolates, artisanal ice creams, local jerky, and seemingly any baked thing you can dream up, including sourdough and pastries from Przybyl and Abou-Eid’s own Proof Bread.
