Josh Johnson has been brewing since his high school days — even earning an A grade from a teacher on one of his chemistry class assignments. The southern Arizona brewer has gone from crafting beer for a retirement community in Oracle to now heading up the brewing operations at Ranch Hand Brewing in Eloy, which began pushing out its product in April 2022.

Matt and Johann sit down with Johnson to sample and discuss five fresh-off-the-canning-line brews: IPA, Microburst Hazy IPA, Amber Ale, Boo Boo Blonde and Breakaway Pilsner.
