Need a hit of beautiful weather and clear blue ocean water? Head to Los Cabos, on the southernmost tip of Mexico’s Baja California peninsula (visitloscabos.travel).

Hilton Los Cabos Beach & Golf Resort
This property just underwent a multi-million-dollar renovation. The resort now has six new places to eat and drink and 14 private plunge pools. For family fun, try the new splash zone and kids club. For adults, a private infinity pool and top-shelf margaritas tempt. hiltonloscabos.com

Mozza Baja
In December 2021, Michelin-starred chef Nancy Silverton (Osteria Mozza, chi SPACCA), opened this restaurant in the Costa Palmas resort and residential community. It combines Italian postmodern vibes and old-world Mexico, with menu highlights including local seafood, handmade pizza and a Tomahawk porkchop with fennel pollen. The dining room features an octopus sculpture – not to be confused with the grilled cephalopod on the menu. mozzabaja.com

Animalón by the Sea
Hop aboard a two-story luxury boat and enjoy a five-course dinner at chef Javier Plascencia’s Animalón by the Sea. It’s the first-ever floating restaurant in Los Cabos and features a menu of locally sourced ingredients, like abalone with avocado and habanero aguachile. The ship sets sail five days a week. animalonbythesea.com
