Sometimes one successful business begets another. Nick Arambula, Chris Lee and Mike Fretto were Tuft & Needle employees brought together by their shared dream of entrepreneurship and a desire to build something more. In 2020, the three friends founded Neighbor, an outdoor furniture and home goods retailer located in Downtown Phoenix. “The inspiration of Neighbor was to create – to create products, and to create better atmospheres that will create more connection while being outside,” Arambula says. They’re focused on using durable, sustainable materials without sacrificing craftsmanship, while also “navigating how to serve customers with unique tastes in the outdoor market.” Adds Lee: “Fall is the perfect time to be outdoors in the Valley with good company, in a comfortable setting.”
