With its room for expansion and typically stable housing market, the Valley has long been a hotbed for real estate. So it’s no surprise that it’s also become a hive for real estate technology aiming to streamline the homebuying process – Opendoor, Tweener Homes and PRE Open House are all based here. Joining the ranks is Dealty, a Phoenix-based digital platform that allows sellers to put their properties on the market while allowing buyers to browse a constantly updated comparison map of listings. Real estate agent Renee Tulliani created Dealty “to be completely transparent for all consumers,” she says – including real estate agents and homebuilders, who can list properties without worrying they’ll be left off of the listings, as happens with some third-party sites. Dealty is currently being tested in Washington state. Will it be the next Opendoor? Time will tell.
