Thirsty Thursday: Craft Beer Releases Across Arizona

We’re half way through the summer that doesn’t feel like a real summer. No baseball, no blockbuster movies and vacation getaways have been a challenge. But we still have new beer – and a lot of it! Here’s the list of new releases coming out the weekend of July 16. Happy Thirsty Thursday everyone!

Goldwater Brewing (Scottsdale & Mesa)

  • Lil’ Guav Hazy IPA, 5.3% ABV brewed with 200 pounds of guava. Releases Friday July 17.
  • Brojito Chillsner, 4.7% ABV American-style pilsner conditioned on lime peel and mint leaves. This beer makes its return on Friday and is available in four-pack 16-oz. cans for $16.

Bone Haus Brewing (Fountain Hills)

Desert Distortion New England IPA Episode 4, 6.4% ABV double dry hopped NEIPA available on tap and in cans.

Wren House Brewing (Phoenix)

  • Las Frescas Bayas, 5.8% ABV fruited sour with blueberry, blackberry, raspberry and lactose. $20 for a four-pack of 16-oz. cans.
  • Weekend Homework, 6.5% ABV west coast IPA. $16 for a four-pack of 16-oz. cans.
  • Bird’s Nest, Barrel-aged Imperial Stout. Selling for $12 per 16-oz. can, with a two can limit.

Saddle Mountain Brewing (Goodyear)

Idaho 7 S.M.A.S.H IPA, 6.7% ABV single malt and single hop IPA.

Beer Research Institute (Mesa)

Taxation is Theft, 5.8% ABV American wheat ale brewed with local honey and chamomile tea.

1912 Brewing (Tucson)

Baya, 6.2% ABV sour with Marion berries, raspberries, blueberries, coriander and sea salt. Back on tap and available in crowlers & growlers to go.

Pueblo Vida Brewing (Tucson)

Black is Beautiful, 10% ABV imperial black IPA. Brewed in collaboration with Weathered Souls Brewing out of San Antonio, Texas. $20 for a six-pack of 12-oz. cans.

Dillinger Brewing (Tucson)

Cash Me Inside, 9.5% hazy double IPA. Available in crowlers and growlers to go.

OHSO Brewery (4 Valley locations)

Flocc Boiz Dank & Confused, 10% ABV triple IPA. Available in cans on on draft on Friday July 17.

Arizona Wilderness (Gilbert & Phoenix)

Arizona State Parks & Trails pale ale is back on tap and fresh in four-pack 16-oz. cans to go.
