The Insomnia and Sleep Institute of Arizona, founded by a fellowship trained sleep physician, is a comprehensive sleep disorders center providing research, evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of over 80 documented sleep disorders. Our medical director and founder Dr. Ruchir P. Patel has been named a PHOENIX magazine Top Doctor and is triple board certified in internal, sleep and obesity medicine making him uniquely qualified to evaluate a patient’s overall sleep health picture. Our team is comprised of fellow PHOENIX magazine Top Doctor Dr. Anupama Ramalingam, a dual board certified in psychiatry and sleep medicine who is keenly aware of the vital interplay between sleep and mental health. Dr. Stacy Gunn, dual board certified in internal and sleep medicine, understands each patient has a unique set of values and life circumstances influencing their treatment goals. Dr. Kelly Krietsch, a clinical health and sleep psychologist, specializes in behavioral sleep medicine and cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBTi) to assist our sleep physicians and patients to successfully treat insomnia without medication while providing other behavioral sleep interventions.
