Diya Marketing owner Kirti Dwivedi was a food and beverage “influencer” long before the term was coined, so her vacations often revolve around food and drink. Her recent trip to Napa and the San Francisco Bay Area with boyfriend Bobby Borszich was no exception. “In the Bay Area, there are so many amazing cocktail bars and restaurants that you really can’t go wrong,” Dwivedi says.
The Morris
This eatery in San Francisco’s Potrero Flats immediately hooked Dwivedi. “I’m a huge fan of the herbaceous spirit Chartreuse, and they are renowned for their Chartreuse slushie, made with ice, green Chartreuse and lemon,” she says. They also noshed on charcuterie, pork cracklings and toasted bread “served with delicately salted butter.” themorris-sf.com
Tartine Manufactory
The famed bakery’s brunch is not to be missed, Dwivedi says. “Their cocktail program has been getting a lot of attention, and [the] food is simple, but beautifully presented.” Pro tip: “Get some bread to go!” tartinebakery.com
Morimoto Napa
After a wine tour with WhySpit (whyspit.com), the couple dined at Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto’s modern Japanese restaurant. “[We] shared their take on surf and turf: Snake River Farms Wagyu, roasted lobster miatake, cippolini onions, black garlic and ‘angry spice.’ The flavors melded beautifully, and with such high-quality ingredients, it wasn’t hard to be blown away.” morimotonapa.com
