Craving a craft brew? Stop by PHX Beer Co., a recently opened brewery and tap room in a renovated warehouse on Washington Street.
The upgraded space features a 20-barrel system on the main brewery floor and a tasting room with a mix of high and low top tables and a fully remodeled wraparound bar. Garage doors allow patrons to get a behind-the-scenes peek at the beer-making process. Guests can also enjoy games like bag toss, darts, foosball and shuffleboard while sipping on PHX Beer Co.’s flagship IPA or noshing on bar bits like flatbreads and paninis.
PHX Beer Co. has 12 beers on tap including Arizona Gold, a golden ale with a dry finish, Sunset Sour, a pleasantly tart brew with cherry and raspberry notes and a seasonal cranberry oatmeal stout. PHX Beer Co. also offers flights and refillable growlers. Brewery tours are available upon request.
“We are incredibly proud of what we are creating here,” says brewery director Adam Wojcik. “The last few months we have improved the space, added some delicious menu items and we are ready to share it with everyone.”
PHX Beer Co. was born out of a love for local brews and a desire to ignite the Valley’s craft beer scene.
“We’re thrilled to be the newest addition to the great local craft beer industry,” Wojcik says. “Our team has done a great job building a new and unique portfolio of beers we are incredibly proud of. We’re excited to share them with the community.”
