“It is easy to get a quick read on someone based on what is in their fridge,” Michael Rusconi says as he surveys his own. “You can tell what they are cooking” and learn about their lifestyle. The California-born and Chicago-raised chef’s home fridge reveals he likes to keep it simple after cooking all night at his North Phoenix restaurant, Rusconi’s American Kitchen. He splits cooking duties for the Sunday family meal with his wife, Nancy, and daughter, Jessica. Rusconi let us snoop in his and see what the fridge of an award-winning chef looks like. Hint: It’s not what you’d expect.
