This Garfield neighborhood diner, beloved for its Southern-inflected comfort food served late, has moved from its tiny vintage space on Roosevelt to roomier, scratch-built digs on Pierce. Most of the original menu items ‘ burgers and the fried green tomato sandwich, for example ‘have survived, but now there’s even more to love, including gooey mac and cheese and an insanely good chorizo meatloaf. Save room for old-fashioned pie.
