The Halal Guys

Decorated in red and yellow ‘ the latter color an homage to the Muslim cabbies who were early customers ‘ The Halal Guys has morphed from Manhattan food cart to multi-national fast food chain. However, something seems to have been lost in translation. While decent enough, the food seems bland and Americanized ‘ not nearly as memorable as a cult following would suggest. But hey, it’s quick, cheap and filling.
